How is money being mobilized to help people in low-income countries deal with climate change? How should we “follow the money” associated with such efforts? What is driving related decision-making processes within African governments and civil society?
ClimateFiGS (Understanding the Allocation of Climate Finance in the Global South) is a five-year project funded by the European Research Council (ERC) that seeks to answer these questions and generate new insights for research and practice. Dr. Ruth D. Carlitz and a team of researchers are working to investigate the allocation of climate finance globally and within three purposefully selected African countries.
